NEMforecastUpdater

Providing a clear view of the data collected by NEMforecast is only of value if that data is the latest data published by NEMMCO, BOM, an d-cyphaTrade. In order to ensure that the data you view is the most recent, NEMforecast has the Update Engine tab.

As the screen capture below shows, the Update Engine tab is divided into two sections. The first displays the status of the Data Service and the second the status of the data files. Depending on what data has been updated by NEMMCO, BOM, or d-cyphaTrade will depend on what data files must be downloaded. Once the latest data files have been downloaded, they are then verified (ie checked that they are not corrupt) and then processed. Once processed, the data displayed in the Short-Term and Medium-Term viewers will be updated to suit.
